Digital Cinema Experience
As a patent holder and pioneer of Digital Cinema Technology TSGI founder Mary Spio's inventions helped The Boeing Company create a new division - Boeing Digital Cinema to digitally distribute George Lucas' Star Wars Episode II. She was awarded Boeing's Outstanding Achievement Award in 2001; additionally the Boeing Company patented several of her inventions
(Docket No. 02-0300A, Docket No. 02-0693, Docket No. 01-831A, Docket No. 01769) on how to digitally target and display cinema content based on psychographics and demographics. Ms. Spio's inventions have revolutionized the way we will watch movies from now on.
Her technology can be seen globally in digital theaters. Movies such as the high grossing Ocean's 11, Planet of the Apes, Spy Kids, Monster's Inc and Bounce were all delivered digitally via the same technology. |
